On March 19th 2010 at approximately 1355hrs Pittsville Vol Fire Dept was alerted for a natural cover fire with exposure to a house on Whitesville Rd. Brush 7 responded with Deputy 7 (G. Whited III) and a staffing of 3, Eng Tanker 703 Responded with 717 (R. Powell) and staffing of 1 for water supply. Upon arrival Brush 7 gave the report of 1/4 acre involved the crew of Brush 7 made quick work to cut off the fire before it extended to a nearby tax ditch and house. All units cleared at approximately 1415 hrs. ( Note video included)
